Course Overview:
The Proactive Patrol Tactics course is a 1-day (8-hour) law enforcement training designed to enhance tactical skills, decision-making, and legal understanding in proactive policing operations. Through a combination of classroom instruction, case studies, and scenario-based practical exercises, officers are trained in high-liability tactics such as open-air arrests, foot pursuits, perimeters and containment, and surround and callouts. The course emphasizes officer safety, community protection, and adherence to lawful, ethical standards during dynamic field encounters that law enforcement officers are often faced with.
