Joint Tactical Consulting - Covert Physical Surveillance (1 Day)
Course Overview:
Successful surveillance operations require deliberate planning, experience, and adaptability. When teams deploy without clear direction or operational control, outcomes are left to chance rather than sound tactics.
This one-day course provides practical instruction on the fundamentals of covert physical surveillance. Students will learn techniques for static, mobile, and foot surveillance, with emphasis on small-team dynamics and contingency management. Instruction includes legal authority, equipment considerations, liability considerations, documentation practices, and mission planning to ensure lawful and defensible operations. Hands-on, scenario-based exercises reinforce real-world application and decision-making. Ideal for officers and detectives new to investigative, proactive patrol, or apprehension assignments where surveillance is required, as well as personnel seeking to strengthen existing skills.
